1999-P Georgia State Quarter Die Crack

Found this coin as change from vending machine. Found a die crack on obverse extending from the Q and U from "QUARTER" to Washington's neck.

Can it be worth something? Never seen die cracks on coins before. And the coin looks good but with some little scratches.

Yeah its a die crack $2 or $3.

 

One of our coin club members has a set that we keep on the wall there. and it is a compete set 1999-2008P minted state quarter all 50 coin all with die crack on GW neck line.all from gem bu bank rolls

 

I had no idea those existed. Cool coins!

I don't know anyone that would give an extra premium for a die crack, unless it's a massive one.

Oh, I agree. Sometimes you can find several in a roll. A crack is considered normal by the mint and several pro's.

ok i wasn't on for a while and i finally got the picture of both Georgia state quarters with die crack well the one that I recently found has dirt on it but oh well.

Ill try to get a better image later
