I just got this in my e-mail http://www.coinnews.net/2010/02/10/...+CoinNewsnet+(CoinNews.net's+Numismatic+News)
I read that too but it's ONLY the DC Union Station event. Springfield is still on. I was wondering what this might do to boost eBay sales of the rolls for those picking them up in Springfield and listing them immediately.
I see some with the Springfield ceremony cancellation stamp listed, current bidding in the $12 - $50 range on eBay.
I will just wait till my $25.00 box P&D makes to my buddy's Coin shop.he called last night and thinks they maybe here today I sure not 100% ebay have the real stamp. Its easy to photo-shop and copy the stamp.:kewl:they did with all the 2009 P&D's LP1-4 :hammer: and a few were banned from ebay
Oh yes, I understand that some maybe false stamps. Just interesting to watch them roll out with all the big type and over explained item descriptions. I don't buy such things. Just watch new/hot items like the roll releases for fun.
My friend that drove down to Springfield is listing a bunch on ebay. He's sending me 5 rolls of the 2010 as soon as I return his box of 1982's to him, and the picture he put up shows all rolls have the stamp. I did end up with a few of the 2009's that had the stamp on them, but out of about 12 rolls only 2 had the stamp. I didn't even know what it was at the time.
