I saw it mentioned here in another thread from 2012, but nothing else (https://www.cointalk.com/threads/counterfeit-nickel.119314/page-2#post-1373505).
Found today. I pass a rare earth magnet over everything that comes through, and this slapped right to it.
I've found two 1987 quarter forgeries, but never a nickel. Looks like i found a "Henning" after all. This might actually be more rare?

The reverse is rotated like that. Comments, thoughts, cusses, all welcome. Just kidding about the cusses, don't want anyone getting banned. Looking for any and all info, please!

George is looking pretty pugnacious. Must be he's angry over his reputation being besmirched by association. Anyway, pretty crude counterfeit.

Looks like someone "tooled" a real nickel. As for it being magnetic, I haven't a clue.

It's obvious I don't know who I mean. That's what happens when your mix your posts with cocktails. Glad to be the source for humor (or is it "humour" per the Brits?)

Who cares? It's not like it has any value. It's basically scrap metal.

I have to wonder why anybody would counterfeit one of those? Not like they are worth much.

Nope. But it's unique. Much like a Henning ;)
