machine doubling?

I was looking at change today and noticed what looks like doubling on the bottom of the eagle's wings, especially on the left side. Upside down image is with the light coming from a different direction. Added a picture of the front because people always ask for the other side. I couldn't find anything about a doubled die for a 1990-P quarter. Have I found something neat or is it just something like machine doubling?

After looking at the images I put here, is that a die crack going thru the NIT in United?

It looks like DDD. Die deterioration doubling, It also runs down the left wing. The crack is also a sign of a tired or late die stage.

Die cracks like that are always fun to fine. I say yes, you found something neat. No added value, but neat.

A worn Die caused what you are seeing but that crack, while common, is nice. It’s a keeper just for the crack.

I didn't even notice the die crack until I put the picture up here. I was using one of those little hand-held loope things, but seeing it so big made a huge difference. I hope my husband gets me one of those microscopes that hitch to the computer for Christmas LOL.
