Picked this coin up for my German States collection, my only 17th century example thus far. Really, really liked the look and had to have it as soon as I saw it.

    German States: Brunswick-Lüneburg-Calenberg, 1692, KM# 357.

My issue is the Numista page photos don't match the coin in hand, but the Numista page also doesn't match what the NGC guide says should be on the reverse. But, NGC has no photos...ugh. About time I spring for a catalogue of world coins. Luckily I'm trying to expand my numismatic library so it will not be in vain!

The fun thing about a World Coin Catalog is that it mostly doesn't need a lot of updating. Go to a coin show and see if you can score an older one from someone you see has several years showing at a lower price. I did that.

Yeah, I've seen older issues go for fairly cheap. I agree, the updating is unnecessary unless they uncover unlisted coins or new information. I've browsed them before, but never had a need until now, when the internet failed me. I'm too much of a worrier to let it remain unknown...lol.
