I had put it at MS 65-66+ Comparing PCGS Photograde, I want to send it in if I think i can confidently get a 66-67

Buffs are kind of tricky so I'll give it an au 58.Possibly MS and worth certification still a nice buffalo and first post(welcome).

I just don't see it getting past gem but it is possible. This Is a very common date your choice to get it certified.

It looks like an easy 66 in these pics. I'd take a chance.

Good. I'd like to see what they give it. I'm going to say, based on these pics, it's a coin toss for a 67, an even money shot.

You may want to consider that incuse line that is at 11 o’clock of the obverse rim. If that is damage then the nickel will be MS Details. Otherwise, it’s a really nice coin.

I see some wear, or a weak strike.

    Therefore, an AU

The luster has a dull look to it. I also see what looks to be slight circulation, and high point rub. AU at best IMO.
Look closely at the darker photos.
The horn is flat and shows a darkness, You can also see this around the area of the tail. This coin could slide into the low MS. I just don't see a gem or premium gem.

Au cleaned, lamination issues at 11 k raised medal flakes can be seen ,also under the chin, and and date area. Buffalos struck on bad platchets are well known .

Look at the face/hair details. Either this coin was weakly struck, has some wear or it was cleaned. I can’t tell from the pictures provided but it’s clearly not a BU coin. It seems to be lacking luster, too.

I am seeing something better than AU but I do see some debris before the U on the obverse. The rim to me looks VG no wear the horn in the brighter pic shows no wear and I am sure the grader with have ample light not like the 2nd pic.I am going 63/64 now lets see the results of the grade in a month or so.;)

Graders are not very nice to IHN's. The '35's do not command a high price, especially if they are not AU, UNC, MS, or 3 legged. A bit of corrosion on both sides, cleaned, in my opinion. AU at best. Thanks for sharing, good luck.

Here it is on top of a PCGSMS67CAC on Heritage, right now (7077). The hair never strikes up the same on these, it always comes up flat, in spots, and there's glare under this one's eye obscuring the depth of cheek. That says hold your horses, to me, let the TPGs have their say on it.

So if it is an MS65, what is its market value? Much more than the cost for grading I assume or you wouldn't consider grading would you?
