When HSN first sold those Prez Oath Dollars it made news and commentary on several of the coin news type web sites. I'm really surprised I haven't seen any comments made about this, the no more satin finish.

The problem is HSN is cable and not broadcast. So it doesn't use "the public airwaves" and is not considered to be "national television".

    more of the same

Last night (Feb 9th) Mike and Alan continued to make the statement that there would be no more Satin Finish coins and said that this info was from the US Mint. I have yet to hear any confirmation from any other source than HSN.
Has anybody heard anything or is this just HSN shilling coins they have in stock and then when Satin Finish coins do come out, HSN will just claim they were misinformed?

The fact that they (HSN) keep mentioning this really makes one wonder.....

  6. I just heard them say in again 5 minutes ago (again referencing the US Mint). TC

Oh my, I just tuned in. It's on (HSN). Just switched from Duke/UNC on ESPN. What was I thinking? :D Complete set of Statehood quarters for only $190. 24k.....where's the phone?

  8. UConn lost in the final seconds to Syracuse, so a guy is allowed to channel surf in frustration even if it means a brief stop at HSN for amusement.:headbang: TC
