I just recently got interested in the Presidential coins and bought three of the older ones in proof on ebay for $2.50 to $3 each, but I haven't received them yet.

It seems cheaper to buy them one at a time, though.

Got a standing order (subscription) for these items and it shows that my "order request is in process". It also shows that these items have been back ordered and that the expected shipping date is 2/01/2010...LOL

I ordered my 2010 Kennedy 2 roll sets on the day of release, 1/29/2010... they were FedEx Drop Shipped, apparently departed Edison, NJ on February 6th and still haven't made it across the Hudson to me here in Brooklyn. It's so convoluted to ship via two carriers, I don't see how they save any money and I the customer just get to watch a lifeless tracking report online...:crying:
Ken did you get your 2010 halves yet?

I don't do the Presidential dollars, so none for me tomorrow nor the next days after that. ;)

LOL don't expect to see any thing move via USPS or any other carrier this week up and down the eastern seaboard!!!! With the storm thats hit the Mid -Atlantic your items are burried deep in the white stuff....However we did have some nut case of a UPS pilot today who took off out of BWI.....durring a white out and 50 + MPH winds! This dude must of had a death wish...oh yeah he made it TG I hate to have everyones packages on the front lawn...besides the front and back lawn is covered with about 300 tons of snow!

Paddy, I worked for UPS (retired)....the guy was probably intimated to the point that if he didn't take off he'd be up on charges of failure to carry out his job obligations.

Man! You got em... Sigh! See there's just no call for this shipping method... and like Paddy said, they will now have a 'inclement weather' case to cite for slow delivery. I don't think USPS cares in the slightest bit to deliver in a timely manner after the FedEx drop ship hits their system. If it was UPS they'd get here with a few hard kicks to the parcel I'm sure

    Ordered! :D

I wish the mint knew how to process orders faster and didn't have ridiculous S&H charges.

I have been ordering these suckers since '07 and I'm going to be ordering them again. Although, I think I have been ordering too many of them. Is 30 too many???

I thought these would sell great as sets but I've been looking at the EBay auctions and prices have not been looking good lately.

Do you really think $4.95 is ridiculous.:rolling: It cost $1.97 just to ship 1 presidential proof set.

Yeah Ken I know some ppl who work for UPS however if the jet went down in a neighborhood that surrounds the airport then who's fault would of it been ???? yeah the pilot....I remember the 80's crash on the 14th bridge in DC durring a snow storm ...two crazy Nam pilots who were sitting on the run way joking if they would make it or not... well we all know the results ......I think about that crash everytime I go over that bridge.....Regan airport is a crazy approach and take off at best... due to the restrictions in DC air space. We have only had one air crash at BWI a twin engine private plane who hit the food store I worked in and then a house behinde it... killing the pilot and a baby in the house! I know for a fact how UPS treats it's people over getting the package to it's finial location. Very SAD to think that someone's QVC pkg is more important than life its self! Paddy

I worked for UPS one summer during my college days and I laughed my head off (in sadness at the truth) when I saw a basket for small items roll down the sort conveyor that someone had written on it, "Under Paid Slaves" That just about said it all what employees felt about the company.
