1982 P dime off set stamping

have anyone seen one of theses dimes

Can you show us a photo? Not that uncommon for them to turn up.
However if it is way out of whack or is a very nice AU58 or better save it.
1982 was a lean year for nice examples.

There is only about 50% of the rim showing the rest was off the coin. I will try and get a good picture of it and post it.

 

Sounds like a misaligned die, unless both side are off in the same direction then it's a off-center.
