Not all are silver, for 1968 some were 50% silver but a composition transfer that year lead most to that date and up to today made out of 99.9% nickel.
Got to check the 68 Canadian quarters and dimes with a magnet. Some were made from nickel and some from 50% silver. With time you can see and hear the difference.
Wicked wheat back! Great description for some of these. Found this guy today. Thanks for the name idea @SensibleSal66!
@Treashunt, see? They weren't really angry with me, at all. Thanks for a great week (so far!) coin gods.
I said my thank yous a little early before. Forgot about these two! I know how that sounds, but i do find a lot of stuff. See that @SensibleSal66? All is right in the world.
And who could forget (well, i did, actually) this little fella? Not as good as a winged liberty, but I'll suffer. Oh wait, i found one of those today, too. oops.
Yeah, but it doesn't have the curb appeal that a winged liberty has. I've found over 55 1964 quarters alone. Only about 14 winged liberties, total
I somehow lost track of this thread since dec 1 st. Had several pages to catch up on! I also realized when I get Tagged in a post I don't get notified. I will have to check my settings. Apologies to @CoinJockey73
