Identifying a strikethrough?

    This 1989 mint set Kennedy half has a strike through in trust. It is quite deeply into the coin so is it possibly from a rim burr or something as firm.

    It was probably caused by a build-up of grease and debris that compacted in Kennedy's bust and then fell out before being struck into the coin.

    Makes a lot of sense, thanks. Forget sometimes just how hard the compacted stuff gets after repeated strikes.
