I'm trying to find out if Rocky Colavito still has this plaque and if there are photos of it. I was a HUGE Colavito fan.
I thought he was asked about it earlier this year, when he was invited to attend the Little Italy statue unveiling, and mentioned he still had it. He was hoping to attend, but having the leg amputated because of Diabetes, and his age, there was an issue of his health safety. I think there was something in the local Penn. newspaper about it, at the time.
In a way. CC Residency, family Middletown, father Miami of Ohio football, dufus branch of the family still there, and I ate myself to a frenzy in Little Italy so many times that it became a continuing habit, even as of today. Thank goodness for Catholicism and the sacrament of Confession.
Apparently I'll be reading that as "A Plague of 300 Silver Dollars" as long as it's on the Recent Topics list. I blame the typeface.
