Look at what I found at my local Coinstar machine! Best scoop ever for me. Note 3 items on bottom: Great Britian One Pound coin, Italion 50 Lira coin, and a strange medallion. Need help on the latter. 0ACA5C41-816D-4BFD-BEA1-8AC295314B01.jpeg D95968ED-F173-416A-A045-DBD185E0B033.jpeg

It looks like a medical alert tag. I would think there would be info on it for whoever it belonged to to alert EMT/Doctors to any allergies or whatever else.

That was my first thought as well. It looks like you engrave you own info on it.

Looks quite small for human use given it's size (but smaller than a U.S. quarter) and the length of information usually put on human tags. My instinct is it is a dog tag denoting a service dog or a tag for an animal with medical conditions. But, it's not engraved so we may never know.

    It's a medical alert tag.

Yep, it's a blank that was never engraved. Should have had a medical condition to alert first responders.
Nice haul. It's been too long since I've found anything in my machine.
