    I really know nothing about this coin and have been unsuccessful in finding anything about it. Can anyone help?

    Modern fantasy piece done in a Celtic style to honor Vercingetorix.

    Dominik, Roman Collector is right on :D. Vercingetorix was a chief of the Arverni Tribe who fought against Rome, & surrendered to Julius Caesar. The coin pictured below is a genuine gold stater, circa 53-52 BC. The coin is priceless & in a French museum.
