I also think they look better than the drawings. I like the fact it returned to a more simple design.

Why is it they won't be for sale like the LP1-4's were? Does anyone know?

Is this coin from one of those Puerto Rican $50 rolls?

yowser..fifty a roll? I am gonna check it out..I keep going to the bank, and now they can't get rid of the 2009 rolls quick enough. I got eighteen rolls of them this past week. ( But only of the first series.) I sure would like to have one of the first 2010 rolls though...I am headed to ebay.

Wow ...$50 a roll was an obvious exageration. I didn't think anyone would actually run with it ..but I guess anything goes around here. $10-15 a roll is pretty rediculous for a spotted zince filled copper coated cent but ..what did PT Barnum say?

After last years Log Cabin's were released There were rolls going for $100.00
and Cases going for $1000.00 Completed sales on Ebay. So when I saw you say $50.00 bucks a roll for the first year of an on going design for one of the most popular collector coins on the planet (Lincoln Cent) it did not surprise me at all. Even at $10.00 to $15.00 per roll it just goes to show how popular the series is.:)

Oh, I know. I flipped quite a few of those cents. I don't collect them but I'm more than willing to over charge those who find some misquided equity in them. I mean with billions made, they will soon be in plentiful supply but there will always those who have to be first and more than willing to pay for the honor. I'm also more than willing to accept their money :)

What is the best way to get rolls of uncirculated cents? Can I get them from the bank (Once these are released of course) or do I have to buy from the mint itself?

you get coins from the bank. The US Mint does not transact with the public. (Except packages designed for collectors and sold through their website)

I find it interesting to note that the coins are technically not money until they are shipped to the Federal Reserve Banks.
