Suggestion.. Give your thread titles a better description. I would of named this one.. Concentric Lathe Lines and Incomplete Clips Make it sound more interesting
this lot all from one vendor, i have been wanting it for a while, i had to wait over 3 weeks for him to lower his starting bid, lol but i finally View attachment 1399341 View attachment 1399342 got it for what i made an offer for from 3 weeks ago he had been listing it for over a month 1883 no cents clipped and cracked planchet v-nickel, also has die cracks 2 places obv., and one on rev., 1866 clipped & die clash 3 cent nickel (pitted) 1835 half cent 2 clips, pitted, bent 1845 rim clip large cent and a 1857 clipped seated lib dime (cleaned)
all 9 of these from same vendor: 1998 lmc with die crack from rim to building 1995 lmc with die crack from rim all the way to top of a pillar
2019 o/c broadstruck/ 1998 die crack from "r" in america into building 1987 broadstruck, slight rotated die and the last is another clip 85-d hope you enjoy..thanks for viewing, and i guess i w ill come up with a catchier title next time
i usually post what came in from post office that day, this day there were a bunch of other denominations as well..
Didn't members jump all over a guy once, for doing that, and then one of the members jumping all over the guy turn around and do the same thing, except with numbering? And didn't the guy that members were jumping on make multiple posts and still get jumped on? I think this thread is fine, and was interesting and easy to scroll up and down and compare and by my count, if separate threads, it would be 31. I am old, and that many would make me take nap.
That's fine except you don't get specific replies to each coin. Most of the coins are common, and can be bought relatively cheap at any of my local LCS. Some are interesting and deserve there own thread. JMO
everyone just like nit picking and want perfection, i will strive to post better, just trying to share the coins, plenty of people post coins worth a little over face value (wheats found in circ, the odd steel cent, worn and holed coins ) i did not know i had to be above a certain price point in order to show a coin..my bad
Pretty sure that 1883 No Cents nickel was damaged with nippers after it left the Mint. That 1964 Kennedy looks a lot like a ragged-clip Franklin half I got in a random silver lot. Mine's pretty well circulated, though, so not as nice an example as yours.
