I do that. Sorry. I live in other locations outside of CT.I know. I am a sinner But not knowing who Charmy is? There is no absolution granted for that sin.
Charley….. Your posts are fun for me. Seriously….. I am a plain talking country boy and I love cyphering your well thought out posts…… I am an old fellow that’s been around the block more than once. I too am at a loss on Charmy. I did a Google search and came up with some Japanese cartoon character…… Yes, a better clue would be appreciated.
Penny Lady... a LARGER THAN LIFE presence in the Numismatic World. She makes Laura look like a wannabe (well, that is a little exaggeration, but still).
Charmy Harker. "The Penny Lady". Presumably the coin mentioned in the OP is an 1877 Indian cent in AU58.
Sperber. But, not knowing that one is not a Cardinal sin, it is more like a 'I only took one cookie from the cookie jar' sin. Truth in Editing: changed 'tin' to 'sin'
I claim loss of vision as my self defense. I long ago gave up on cents. The mint just makes them too danged small for my eyes to be able to enjoy.
Yes. I fell in love with it at Balt. Charmy captured it at Balt., and now is throwing it back into the sea. I happen to be the circling shark that has the only Machine Gun in the new Sharkmeggdon movie series.
Note: I thought Mr. masterswimmer would like the shark thing mental image. I come up with that stuff now and then. My mind wanders. Because, I am old.
You can likely find that picture (and definitely many more) here: https://forums.collectors.com/discu...ber-2021-baltimore-show-report-w-lots-of-pics
Not up yet, she is still settling in with the cat after the return Balt. trip, and of course Thanksgiving. I can say the photo on her report does not do it justice, if seen in person. My opinion.
