    Great thread full of harrowing and entertaining stories! The worst I've managed is to lose a coin in the car, similar to @Silphium Addict - driving home from a coin show, admiring my loot at the stop lights, etc. It only took one time to learn my lesson. Now I superglue my coins to my forehead.
