Mismatched SN on $1 note plus green bar covering one number

    If I remember correctly you work in a bank so fantastic find. Keep and protect that bill. It’s like two errors in one.

    Eddie I’m sorry, but I don’t recall the technical name of that error. I’ve only seen it once before. The other error is the mismatched serial numbers. Not super rare, but not common.

    The 60s are reserved for uncirculated notes. Yours appears AU. It’s definitely a candidate for third party authentication and grading. Well worth the money.

    I knew it handling money somehow. All the toll roads where I live are now you pay with EZ-Pass or the state mails you a bill for what you owe them. Hope your unaffected. :)

    The numbering block was not indexed properly at some point. The numbering device has to be set, or the indexing machine broke at a point during printing production. We had some things as such when I was a printer happen.
