Cecil County Dragway No Victor, I've never been to the dragway but I used to go camping near a little marina in Darlington. The whole area is owned by an electric company and they rent out the marina to a guy that lets us camp and fish on the grounds. Now I take my boat up there on occasion to fish for "three eyed catfish" near Peachbottom nuclear power plant. :eat:
Yes I plan to go. I have been the past 2 years. It is big for this area. Dealers well known come from all over. I think Stacks was there last year. Anyway the show is put on by the Mansfield Coin Club. I really should join. Being on Sunday the show conflicts with my work schedule. 2 years ago I just called out sick that day! Last year I ran over in the morning and made it back here to go to work 2nd shift. I ran into a problem with one dealer who wanted to charge sales tax on bullion. Forget that. There is no sales tax in Connecticut. Anyway I did pick up a nice raw 1858 flying eagle cent LL in xf for $100 from a dealer out of Maine. It was priced at $140 or $150. It really is a show you don't want to skip.
We used to go to the annual fun day at Cecil for the Shelby Dodge Auto Club. Turbocharged 4 cylinder cars developed by Carroll Shelby himself. Nice area. We stayed in Elkhorn and drove down to Chesapeake City and Bridge. We ate crab cakes at a shack on the bank of the canal.
Frank Zappa Watch out where the huskies go & Don't you eat the Yellow Snow When tempted try this It IS winter, folks. What do you expect? other than a good time to roll search.....until the lights go out.
I'll take my Coin Manage program anyday over using Excel or Access. I am good with spreadsheets, just don't want to have to design one, which I'm sure would be fun. Just doing the coin managing/pictures is enough without having to worry about the coin program. I know some people do the spreadsheet, but I am very happy with my $50 program.
It snowed today but melted as soon as it hit the ground. I was working a funeral today so that was nice as the snow only makes it harder. At 33o it was cold to stand out in the parking lot and park cars... Speedy
