    Hello fellows and ladies,

I would like to start my Sunday looking and drooling at your 12 Caesars and how you display them before you lock them up. Display is important to me, in my house, so I can gaze upon them.

    Thanks, Mammothtooth

They're locked away but in a binder in 2x2 flips. The digital tray works just as well.

If by 12 Caesars you mean Julius Caesar and the 11 first emperors from Augustus to Domitian, sorry I don't have the 12, only 9. Julius Caesar, Caligula and Otho are still missing. I am not displaying them in my home, they are always in their trays, or sometimes in little boxes I carry with me when I want to show some coins to my students. Having the original coin in hand is more immersive than just looking at its enlarged photo on the screen.

I think I will continue to get the Bronze Dupondius of each. I like the larger coins… Not sure of cost factor of bronze vs silver..Best of both worlds would be Silver and Bronze….Followed by the Gold….

    Oh, I missed that part.
They're in à tray with other imperials, not in à separate or specific container

Not only the first 12 but the first 22 Caesars in Sestertius denomination, joined in one tray by 18 wives, Caesars, and other relatives:

Here's a group shot of mine, although I don't have them displayed, rather spread between 3 binder pages along with family members etc

I opted for a mixed set to optimize affordability/eye appeal. Probably will eventually upgrade the Galba, Vitellius, and swap the Flavians for high grade dupondii or sestertii

I have never assembled a Twelve Caesars set - I might eventually end up with each of the Twelve but it isn't an immediate focus for me.

In the meantime, paging @IdesOfMarch01 for his wonderful set of particularly artistic examples in all metals.

Ah yes, the 12 caesars digital trays. I enjoy watching these of other members too! Here's mine:

I have them displayed in a tray, together with other denarii of the same emperor and other emperors as well. Here's an older photo, to give you an idea. I enjoy these displays, I can take out the coins easily, and watch them whenever I want.
