When I have a coin in a script that I can't read, a custom search on Numista by weight, diameter and composition can often narrow it down enough to spot it out of the lineup of possible answers. For example, a search for your coin's properties: weight: 1 g (they give you within +/- 0.5 g) diameter: 16 mm Shape: center hole composition: non-precious (this covers bronzes and coppers, among other things) gives only 14 results, including your coin. For older coins, such as Italian states before 1800, I often fail to find unknown coins, but for modern stuff a custom search often really helps. You can add or drop parameters (such as a date range) if you get too many or no valid results.
