I think that includes the silver coins (A GENUINE SILVER DOLLAR!)

Plus the oak (REAL WOOD!) might account for that premium as well :D

The question was really for non-silver regular Ikes in circulated to low MS condition.

Yes I know, but the conversation did broaden a bit as it went along. The HSN price, although true, was a joke. They of course sell for a premium on ebay, and actually I would think a person could make a good percentage profit on them, but they would have to own a large inventory.

    Bump...

Has anyone sold circulated Ikes recently for a premium?

I've got a lot of 10 up on ebay right now so we'll see. Got them at face from the bank a month or so ago. Filled my Ike book (Just year/mint set) and trying to get a little premium out of them. Did find one type1[block lettering] 1976 and one type3 1972. All in circulated condition though.

I did a couple sales last year on Ebay.. Lot of 50 Ike's went for just over 80.00 w/4.99 S/h and I sold 33 or so I think went for around 50.00..
They sell for a Bit.. The more you have in one Lot the Better..
Look on Ebay for IKE lots.. they do sell..
I always grab them up at the Bank when I can.. I don't collect them.. but have about 50 now and will sell them when I get 100 this time.. Or maybe just hoard like the rest of all my stuff..
Oh.. I just can't wait till I die and my kids and wife sell all my stuff for face value.. All that silver going for face..AARRRGGG!!! I will so haunt them!!!
