I would seriously love to find one of these in the wild since I can’t afford to buy one. Yep, I’m poor, LOL. But I live in the real world and I know I’d have a better chance of finding a unicorn in the wild than one of these coins!
Well get it now while you can still see it. I waited until I was 61 to finally get one and I can’t enjoy it with my old man eyes!
Seriously they're not worth anything unless they're real obvious or otherwise flashy. Don't believe everything you might read in the price guides on these, they're just books people like to sell. There are exceptions, obviously, but you could probably count them all on one hand. Maybe two, but you won't have to use your feet, that I'm pretty sure of.
The only thing I can think of that might help is put your pic in a Microsoft word or office-type program. Then copy and paste the photo you wish to compare it to beside yours. At least you will not have to go back and forth between your pic and the reference site to compare. I'm sure there are overlap type programs available from tech sites, but probably a bit pricy.
I swear that looks as clear as day to me and matches on Lincoln cent source variety Vista and that other website I forgot
There is no reason at all for the US Mint to put a 76 in that area.. Gunk can make you see things. BTW - the correct numismatic terminology is Doubled Die.. Not double die
