After a six-month drought, the local Coinstar machine finally yielded something better than a moldy Zincoln or a solitary foreign coin in the reject slot; a well-circulated 1869 Shield Nickel. Although it's a cull, it is still by far one of my most interesting Coinstar reject slot finds to date.
Now that is cool. I once got a worn flat V-nickel in change at the beach... I couldn't imagine finding a shield nickel in the wild. That's very cool!
coming for you soon. Taking a trip right now to see if I can hit every coinstar in a 20 mile radius. Love the find.. but now that one will be hard to beat!
With the excess of fools in this world, there's a good chance that I might find something even better down the road.
You're correct. Metro NY area, over here. But your neck of the woods sounds lovely. (I think @SensibleSal66 called me a fool )
