I opened another box that I had never opened. It was from 2016. There were a few coins in it and nothing worth posting except one item. Most of them were Quarters or other denominations to till a hole in an album. Got them out and removed more packaging material only to discover

A canvas bag that contained $100.00 face value of Junk Silver. That’s a lot of silver. And best of all, the price is a lot higher today than when I bought it. I can’t help but wonder what’s in the rest of all this sealed boxes.

This may be perceived as harsh, but...how do you forget about $100 face of silver coins?

Nice, but, I take exception to calling US Coins "junk".

Not harsh to me. The answer is I was working 90 plus hours with a 6 day work week. All I did was work, sleep, eat and mow the 7 acres. All that overtime gave me very large paycheck. I bought coins and never opened the boxes or envelopes when they arrived. Now that I’m retired, I’m finding the time to open them and rediscover what I bought. I found about 15 gold coins as well and this isn’t the only silver I’ve posted. Lots more to go do stay tuned.

Me too but that’s what’s on the invoice. There’s actually dome nice looking coins in there. I doubt you would find some of these coins in junk silver buys today.

    Makes sense, but … wow. I thought I had hit a bonanza when I found a $100-ish 1875-S 20c piece I didn’t know I owned in one box.
