Are you saying it's a DDO or a DDR? If a DDO, the letters on your cent don't seem thick enough or rounded like the one listed on variety vista. I also can't see the markers at Abe's eye or nose. I do see what I think is a bit of MD or DDD on the date. http://www.varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/1976PDDO001.htm
I don't see doubling on either side... Some unsolicited tips: 1. Put the coin down and photograph it. Holding it now makes two moving parts for a bad photo. 2. Get yourself a 10x loupe. Searching for errors without a loupe is kind of fruitless. 3. Spend more time on www.error-ref.com (or www.doubleddie.com, or www.varietyvista.com, or www.lincolncentresource.com). Searching for errors without understanding the minting process is even more fruitless. 4. Keep up the motivation!
Ok I'll put it down snapshot a photo. Your right sorry just having a bad day got bit by a big dog today and almost lost my hand
Hope the dog's owner has the dog's rabies shot current. How about you, might want to update your tetanus booster. Animal bites are a playground for bacteria.
Okay really need help on posting 10 penny's at the same time on the same post and asking the same question looked at it and very similar to variety Vista years 82 82d and 76 both sides. How to upload more than one image on the same page.
It's just so yall don't get upset when I ask the same questions on multiple coins. It makes it faster to put those in the bucket and the ones to send in.
This maybe a dumb question or a smart question. It seems that most doubling is always left to right or right to left but never up and down or down and up. If that makes any sense to yall I hope.
I need to know why when I examine the coin on all known websites to compare to the double die. In my eyes it close or even more stronger than what is posted as one. What am I missing and why are they always MDs even though others are considered doubles when they literally match real close.
If there was an app that you could use to overlap with a real error coin to speed up the process and give you a percentage of how close you are and what to ignore or look for. That'll be a million dollar ideal and people would use.
But thank you all guys for working with me by the bottom of my heart I appreciate it so much even though yall give me a hard time. But I look at it as a teaching experience.
