Congrats on the purchase. I would be interested in seeing some closeups of the obverse to see what is going on with the first 2 stars and the X. Still a nice addition.

 

She's a beauty! I am only guessing that the hacks on the obv are on the slab but the reverse looks incredible. Looks like it may be undergraded to me.

Take away the "X" at 9 o'clock and you're probably looking at a 64/65 (depending on what happening in the 3 o'clock area).

Whatever, I'd take it and be very pleased.

1868 Proof Quarter UPDATE

So, the mailman brought me my teletrade purchase that "x" in the picture is definatley on the holder, i'm thinking i might be abel to get a higher grade on it.

THoughts?
