Okay, I think most folks on CT know I'm not a big fan of CAC.

Still, I've been persuaded by a customer before to send a coin in for a bean, and I sent other coins in with it, mainly to justify the expense of submission and shipping back and forth.

Well, I'm in that situation once again, and went back to the SDB to dust the cobwebs off of some of my old collection and include some of those coins in this next submission. I'm also throwing in 5 or 6 coins from ToughCOINS' inventory, so this should be interesting.

If you want to play along, just vote on whether each coin gets (1) No bean, (2) Green bean, or (3) Gold bean.

That's a tough one. It definitely gets the originality bean.
    I really like it as a 64.

I'm leaning towards no. It's a nice coin but the small spots and the streak between "OF" and "America" could be the deciding factors against the sticker.

As it says on the label, that eagle is pretty fly -- but I can't hazard a guess on its beanability.

I'll guess green. I like the fatty holders, but I could wonder if extended time in one has already accentuated the speckles and may continue to do this coin no favors...???

I could see a 65 on that so will have to say "gold bean"

Before eyeing the official grade I came up with a 64 myself. I'm giving it a greenie.

    Good luck.

I'll go along with NGC's 64 grade but I don't think CAC will agree with an A or B coin rating. Too many specks, too many hits on the reverse.

I'll say no bean; the color looks odd in the photos, and a lot of "flyspecks."

The coins went off to CAC this afternoon.

I'll post results when I get them . . . likely more than a month down the road.

Green bean. High in grade, and knocking on the 65 door.
