I'm not sure if the seller made a mistake with these coins but he neglected to state the years contained. I messaged him earlier today and he let me know there were "3-1922S,D&P-VF..8-1923 all BU..1-1923S XF..1-1925S XF..2-1926S,D VF..1-1927S AU..1-1934S AU For a total of 17." I paid roughly $18 a coin. If anything is wrong I can return them, he offers a 7 day return. I need some of the coins to fill in my Dansco Album.

id say thats a good deal since theyre for your album. the silver content alone is almost worth 315.

  4. It looks like you got some decent San Francisco minted coins for your Dansco. Good deal. TC

As long as they aren't a group of whizzed coins, I'd say you got a pretty good deal. Can't see much detail in those pics.

    Just a sanity check.
    How did you get $315?
I calculated it at about $220.

With silver at $16.50 a silver dollar is worth $12.76 in bullion.
    $12.76 x 17 = $216.92

    But no matter.
The OP got his money's worth if there's no cleaning problems.

I'll take pictures when I get them so the guys here can help me decide if they been altered. I didnt realize the 34-S is worth a nice penny in decent condition.

The 34-S is THE key date in MS condition.

I have to agree with Lugia, you go into a dealer your not gonna pull coins like these for less then $17 each.

Note that the original statement was "the silver content alone is almost worth 315".
That's referring to bullion value which is what I was quoting in my response.

I agree, barring cleaned coins, that you will never acquire those coins for at amount.
The $315 is much closer to the truth.
