I submitted some coins to NGC, using USPS with Delivery Confirmation and insurance.

USPS says the package was delivered on the 28th or Jan.

However, the online NGC order tracker says 'No Orders Found'.

Does it take a while for these submissions to show up online?

Should I be concerned? I used Early Bird service.

    Thanks.

IT takes a while sometimes, just give it another day. the same thing happened with my submission the other day

Yes, the PO is reflecting the delivery, but the online is when it is entered into the computer, and may be a day or more. If any concern or worry, call them! They are very customer oriented.

When you submit for grading, do you do bulk (5 or more), or do you submit through a dealer? And if you do so through a dealer, does the dealer charge?

    I have a question.
    1. If I use Economy can I submit any amount of coins?

What does it say on the NGC website? It should tell you there. There are some grading tiers that have a 5 coin minimum submission and I believe Economy does.

Don't quite understand what you are saying, but here is the description of the economy tier from NGC...."All non-gold U.S. coins valued under $300, and $5, $10, $25, $50 US gold bullion under $300 per coin (no Colonials). Five (5) coin minimum"

So if your coin/coins fall into this category then the answer to your question is yes.

    Just a suggestion.
Registered Mail is generally preferable to Insured plus DC.
You'll note that is the way they will return you coins.

Yes anytime you submit anything to a TPG it takes them awhile to
Receive it and put in there computer, Usually between 2 and 3 days
    On average!

So I talked to Lisa from NGC about 2 hours ago. I feel more uneasy now than I did when I first wrote this post.

She assured me my box is in their office somewhere, but then asked, 'are you sure you didn't send it to NCS?'

She said they would find the box, and she would call me back. It has been 2 hours now.

I know I am probably being paranoid, but It has been 5-6 days since they received the package.

I feel your pain, Everytime I have sent coins in it does take awhile and everything should be OK. NGC has excellent customer service.:thumb: This last time I sent coins in I thought I sent them to the wrong PO Box and was really sweating it out. But it all turned out just fine.

They don't care how many coins you submit. I submitted 265 coins under the modern special service. I have found that if you keep the submission under
55 coins you seem to get faster service. :thumb:

Well, NGC finally found my package. They misplaced it because it looked like it belonged to another special shipment they had received. Luckily, they moved me to the front of the line, since I had a lost a few days there.

It is in grading now. Wish me luck.

After this, I will either have good or bad things to say about Coast to Coast Coins.

BTW: NGC has tremendous customer service. I had heard this before, but I actually experienced it myself.

    I totally agree.
The woman who answers the phone is ALWAYS pleasant.
    And responsive.
And NEVER sounds like you are interferring with her time.

I already now what you are going to say after you get the grades back or maybe the coin only making into a details holder.

    NGC IS THE BEST!!
