True, but over the years, I've received plenty of good stuff from older people. In general, people are ignorant of their money, just not paying attention at all..

Yes! Get another Bank.. Get three.. I have three.. it makes it so easy.. One of the banks has a Coin Machine in every branch.. I can spend a day going from bank to bank .. branch to branch.. I bug nobody since they as a whole see me rarely.. And the Coin Machine is Bonus.. and when it is full sometimes they call me!!

As for what to look for.. So Many.. SO MANY! Varieties / Tones RPM's .. ETC..
It is hard to give you any one coin.. Gosh.. Silver.. (LOw Silver) and Counterfeit Nickels from the 40's.. So many!!!
Get a Book!!! Get several Books.. Study .. online there are many sites..
My head is so full of numbers and letters and Fonts and Patters and weights.. I couldn't even start to tell you..
I think I am having a breakdown,,, Searched over 2 Boxes Nickels this week.. Through a microscope.. Then as a break from that a Box of Lincolns half done from last week.. and then as break from that search Currency .. Numbers.. Plates.. Presses... !!! Over 1000 In Singles.. and another in 5.00...
I am sleeping about 4 hours a day.. and Have a Job were I can search the whole time I am working..

It is my Friday.. I am Beat.. Now I have two days to.. to... Search the Banks..

Lather: Ty for the advice. I live in a very very small town with 1 bank w/in 6 miles then the next town over is 12 miles 3 banks. Then the "city" is about 50 miles. I work in Sales so I do everything remotly for work and then just cold call my face off from home. It is nice no crime laid back life style (I also live on a 40,000 acre lake) It is hoppin in the summer time, but during the spring and winter their are literaly less than 800 people that live in a 10 mile circle of my house. I will take your advice and next time I have to go into the office stop in the library and get me a book. If you have any good ones please post. I will also do some google searches. I know 44's w/out a mint mark are fake any others I should look for. Again thanks for the advice. Roll searching is a lot of fun. I guess the one cool thing about living where I am is that the one bank actually has a coin machine go figure :)

I went to my credit union and asked to have the pennies out ot the coin changers and they, the vault man, said they didn't allow it for reasons of liability. They said that if someone was to have the cents covered with "white powder" that they would/could be held responsible. I said that I would sign a waiver freeing them from any liability or responsibility. He said they still couldn't do it regardless. Then I asked about $50 bags of pennies. He said "sure, when do you want them/it?" All I hAd to do is order them for any specific day a week from now. I asked if they came from the Fed. He said yes. So then I thought " what's the difference whether I get a brick or a bag? They'll both come from the same place. So not to make anymore waves I bought $20 bucks of ' customer rolled pennies.'
He said they had about fifty bucks worth but it would take awhile for them to ' black out ' the account numbers on them. I said " no I'll just take twenty bucks worth today. That's all the money I had at the time.
