I prefer the original, no low relief spaghetti haired with fingerprints, strike throughs etc that the 2021s seem to be plagued with.

You have got to be kidding me. Although I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised about the Mint's latest grift.

Commemorative coins should be produced for just one year.

Wow. I wonder why they're doing it again for 2022.

EDIT: Oh wait... Maybe the proofs will still be dated 2021.

I just filled out the satisfaction survey. After the fiasco I went through failing to get one of each of the Morgan and Peace dollars this year I'd rather have my hemorrhoids manicured.

It definitely hurts them a bit that they're going to be yearly, but a RP version would be nice

I was just reading this article (Oct. 2021 The Numismatist) which states that it's probably going to be a yearly issue now.

I bought multiples of the entire 2021 set. I would like to get S proofs but that's it. If they roll out 6 coins for 2022 again i'm not buying any of them. If they roll out 6 proofs I'm going to buy one morgan and peace and that'll be it. They should have let it be. I don't want to see any more release personally.

The peace is kind of interesting that way, I'm not really a big fan of ultra modern proofs in general though. The mirrors are so deep that the slightest little thing just jumps out and slaps you in the face. I strongly prefer the RP or even the enhanced just just a normal proof.

I would be interested in a proof version of each. I think the Mint missed the mark this year by not having proofs for the anniversary.

They seemed to have planned it right knowing theyd do proofs next year. The uncircs definitely did better this year than they would have next year, the proofs have a much better chance of being strong year two than the other way around

Agree whole heartedly compared to enhance reverse 2 coin set not even close!

I wasn't able to get any 2021's of any of the six. Why would year 2 and beyond be of any interest to me? They saved me a lot of money. Thank you US Mint.

FWIW I speculated this would happen many months back, reading the law and noticing that it was open-ended. Can the mint make money selling them? Then they will.

Cary-on wayward sons...I'll pass on these new "faux" Morgans and Peace rounds. I'll ride the coat-tails for (hopefully) increasing value of the classic, original series especially my key dates ;)
