    please dont do that. if you look enough you will find a nicer looking coin for much cheaper. i see them on the Bay all the time. the early 60's toned proof coins are quite abundant. plus those pictures are horrible. cant even really see the coin.

    YA the pictures worried me, i want a deep blue like the 'monster' nickel :)

    I am by far no expert in coins but I am really knowledgeable in photography. It looks to me that the room is blue or something else behind the photographer is and a lot of the color in the coin is a reflection from the room and not on the coin itself. Just my opinion though!

    seems like the white balance on the camera was way off. To me at least.

    I will answer your question by telling you I paid $125 for this 1964 proof Jefferson and admit I overpaid.

    You will find a much more eye appealing coin for a much better price with some patience.

    Ya i has knowledge in photo but i kinda got excited for a minute or two. Ya that white balance could have easily caused that. Guess ill try to find one at long beach if i go

    In the first picture you see a perfect strait line on the reverse in the "toning". Like a blue poster board or something held up. Then in the second picture there is almost no blue at all on the coin. I don't know. A lot of money for something you can not see in hand before buying!

    Absolutely!! Just take your time and look everyday on ebay and you will find one for cheaper that you will like alot better. I guaranguldernteeit!! :D

    Yep even the white part (insert) of the NGC slab is a bit blue in the first photo but not in the second.
    Long Beach will have one for you :D
