I sent in a 1914-D cent with reverse Lamination to be graded. I was told they could not slab it. Against PCGS policy WIN_20211110_12_22_08_Pro.jpg WIN_20211110_12_22_21_Pro.jpg (even though I offered to pay extra). I got this in the mail today.:woot::happy:

Huh?.. Why would they tell you that? o_O
I have never submitted a coin to PCGS. Am I missing something? NGC attributes all of my Lamination Errors.

What? Against their policy? I think that employee was misinformed and the coin was graded by another person that DID know.

PCGS code #83 says no encapsulation of laminations. I just found a person with a heart.

That's a weird policy. Another reason never to submit my errors with them. Even though they did it.

Great move PCGS! Probably has a lot to do with the "new" personnel promotions. You should thank her and anyone else involved with the decision online in their US Coin Forum. I'd do it for you but I'm banned from posting over their because of comments in a non-numismatic discussion and my Attila the Hun approach to ignorance.
