A recent purchase. Came from a roll. I'm still in shock this coin would exist. Grades MS65 easily. There's 75 years searching this coin, his 45 plus my 30 years. Right click to make larger. What say you? Leon
I think his point though is the steps are clearly delineated and anybody even vaguely familiar with this series knows that just doesn't happen, you just don't see it. The steps are clearly broken by the cuts in it, I agree.
No biggie. He just missed the point because he's unfamiliar with the series. I think he can deal with it.
Strait outa the red book. It's possible that there are many just like yours, that have 5FS, just not complete steps because of heavy planchet roughness or bag marks. PCGS being the most lenient on the designation doesn't even have one verified.
Send it in to be certified with full steps then if you are so sure about it and let us know how it turns out. Nevermind there are MS66, MS67, MS68, everyone is gonna want your ultra rare MS65 full steps instead of one the few hundred coins graded higher than MS65.
Not seeing it. Looks like a normal nickel in very good shape for its age and the poor dies the mint was using.
