    Today I received my box of Sac dollars direct shipped from the mint. Well, the first roll is unwrapped and nothing stands out. This will be a long process. I will now begin to spend that roll as expected. Once that roll is gone, I will crack open the next roll and search it for high grade coins or errors. None were noted in the first roll. I have 9 rolls left. It should take me roughly two weeks or less to go through each roll. This way, I can spread out the fun to last me a couple of months to look through these. BTW, all of mine of D mint.

    Anyone finding any errors or varieties with theirs?

    Did you get the 2001's or the 2010's?

    Mine were D's, also. They look nice from a distance, but are pretty banged up upon closer inspection. If I had one MS64...that was all I had. I wonder if they bang them up on purpose just so we'll spend them.

  5. They are probably returns from Central America. TC

    Well I bought a box and they were all D mint and I didn't find any errors.
    I ended up pulling out 5 coins that will grade MS66 and maybe 1 that will grade MS67.
    The coins will be on there way to NGC next week.

    :bow: I don't know how you can do that. I can't even sleep till I go through all of the rolls.

    2010 ase's

    Hello everyone, I am considering buying some rolls of 2010 ASE's in the tube. Does anyone have any experience in how many of the 20 might grade ms70 from PCGS.

    Thanks, Dave

    Just used my first roll of dollars to buy two pizzas!!! The delivery guy was pleasantly surprised. Tip and everything was paid in dollar coins. Well, I guess I will be cracking open another roll Jamie!!!! So far, I have opened two rolls and have found none of the Sacs worth sending in for grading.....or at least none that I would like in my collection.

    If everyone bought their pizzas with dollar coins, the Pizza guy might start hearing...

    :loud: "Pants on the ground, pants on the ground...looking like a FOOL with your pants on the ground!" :D

    Bad.....really bad! :computer::D

  15. Hopefully the pizza guy realized that they were not made of real gold! You have great willpower. I would have been through the whole lot before the pizza guy arrived. Enjoy. TC

    Am I missing something, didn't they start Edge Lettering a few years after 2001?

    Humpty, he is just joking. Edge lettering on the SACs did not start until last year in 2009. Edge lettering was started in 2007 on the presidiential dollars. He is just messing around. No need to worry.
