The goddess of good fortune shinned upon me with the addition of the Fr352 in PMG64 EPQ. A note in which a favorite character from The Civil War Era is portrayed as the Central Vignette.. Edwin Stanton, President Lincoln's Secty of War. The man who issued the "Manhunt" for John Wilkes Booth and took it upon himself to Act as President of the United states during the time Lincoln was assassinated. He was at Lincoln's bedside when he died April 14th..

    Enjoy..

The first note is the Fr 351 it has been cropped but is a 65 EPQ (PMG)

For this Series you have the Fr# 350, 351 and 352.
    The Fr# 350 is the Rosecrans/Nebecker sigs.

    Thanks guy's...

The Fr350 will be a challenge somewhat..I know of 1 for sale at the moment but the guy wants a little too much..if he would come down to about 1.8K to 2K I would consider it to finish the set....

Goals are always difficult, more so when you need just that 1 little note with difficult sigs to get it.

The note is a 65 EPQ and is really sweet looking with Nebecker's signature.

    Thanks for stopping by everyone..

The Currency Gods have been good to you today !
Beautiful Bank note & Grade ! Stanton is a colorful character,he was at Lincoln's bedside when he died and was Secretary of War for with Lincoln when he died I think .This is the only Stanton I have but I think it's the same vignette.

    Pennywise...LOL
Thanks for the nice words..and the 347,348 and 349 are a small fortune:eek:

We shall see  what the future brings but for now my mind is on the Fr350.

    Connor1...

Yes indeed Stanton was at Lincoln's bedside when he died. If you like reading then check out the Book "Manhunt" it is a hard to putdown book on the events of Lincolns demise and what followed by Stantons order to initiate that Mannhunt.

Booth, when hiding out in a deep thicket of piney woods in Maryland tossed his saddle into a small pond..if that were ever recovered it would be worth a small fortune by itself..
