Here are some cool domestic coins that I found in my Uncle’s antique collection. He said “take what you want!” A7DB2ACA-DA1F-48AC-9F72-76D982B9C46F.jpeg CFF55E9C-9BD5-42C9-9C76-3E504A6EDCAA.jpeg 193FA082-C5CE-4C2A-96C2-3776A97ADDB3.jpeg 3164FC3E-203E-48BC-8F0B-1763F681467F.jpeg B17A2F63-3E1F-451A-91B3-5C7F068AF2AC.jpeg 525C159A-C9D2-4D99-AE79-982E349EAC0C.jpeg 23A53B58-C672-4A34-87A3-9F2F0DE853AF.jpeg 90D73208-779E-467C-928B-CC184F960E26.jpeg 33169311-0D93-43D1-AFB1-A575EEF149B2.jpeg 5C4C6F5A-CC6B-4933-8A2D-FE25B85DD5D0.jpeg

The holey half dime is fun. The Philippine 10-centavo pieces are also silver. (And struck at the Denver Mint in the USA, as you likely noticed.)

The New Mexico and Arizona tax tokens are the same ones my pappy gave me before I started collecting seriously. The same ones! My Arizona had a hole and I wore it on a string around my neck at Boy Scout camp.

yeah, I was taken back by a coin that had the United States on the front and a foreign denomination on the back. Cool that they were stuck at the Denver mint.

Hello!! The real world is kicking my butt! I’ve been sitting on a box of quarters for a month now!! No time to search!! Plus the box was a old one. Haven’t seen anything newer than 2018 yet. I should be able to search this weekend. Hope all is well!!

FYI, you should send a pm to them as this can be considered an infringement of the rules in an open forum. Just thought you should know.

Appears your uncle is an eclectic collector. Does he just throw coins he likes into a jar?

He is an antique nut in general. Happened to have a conversation about coins and he said that he had a bunch of old coins. It was fun to go through. I’ll post more in the near future. Have some dates to the 1850s from Germany, Norway, Britain and more!

My father had a collection of 1930's state sales tax tokens.
