My recent CWR purchase of $225.50 produced a few good finds. The highlights were some fairly low mintage ATB quarters and a NMI territory quarter. On nickles a 1953 P and a low mintage 2009 P. Got a few wheat pennies including a crusted 1943 steelie. Got skunked on dimes.

Y'ever look at a coin like that and marvel at how much it must have seen, and how many hands must have touched it along the way, before it got to you? "You went all through World War 2. When cars had crazy fins and TV was only black and white, you were there. You probably heard a lot about a red in every bed. You might've been passed in change at the Summer of Love. Maybe you helped buy chewing gum for a disco guy with an Afro, bell bottoms, and platform shoes. Y2K didn't stop you. Maybe you were in New York City on 9/11. You might have been desperate to circulate in 2008. Now you're here. And though I may never let you go, when I go, who knows what adventures you'll have next?"

I searched through $500 in quarters from a laundromat a couple days ago. Found 3 different W mint marked in super good condition. I'm thinking high mint state condition. Also got one of the new 2021 Washington Crossing the Delaware quarters withe die chip in the cap. Also really high mint state condition. Maybe as high as a MS69. Maybe. Brother in law called last night and he has a $1000 in quarters he collected out of his Car Wash. Gonna pick them up today and begin a new search. I've had better results from Car Wash's and laundromats than Fed rolled boxes.
