How is it known that it's from Alexandria?

The style of the Alexandrian coinage is quite distinctive, I find it especially so around the eyes. It is in the same style as the Tetradrachms from the same period. This makes them conclusively from Alexandria.

Alexandrian denarii are also know for Commodus, Clodius Albinus and Septimius Severus.

I have this denarius listed as from the Rome mint, but the eye looks more as if its minted in Alexandria ?
If so ,next coin Caracalla denarius.

Interesting. I had no idea that during that period, presumably at the same time that the usual Provincial coinage was being minted in Alexandria (in Greek), Imperial coinage was also being minted there in Latin.
