Ghostly $1 Note

    I got this similar note earlier this year. Reverse ink not as bold is the Op's note.
    I keep it because I was not sure what it was.
    I thought it was laundered money.

    Looks like it is laundered money. Meaning it went through the washing machine one too many times. The ink used for the serial numbers and the bank numbers is different from the front and back inks, so they did not fade. That’s my opinion anyway.
