This quarter seems to have a copper and Gold watermark. It's vary unique. Not sure when I'm selling it. But I plan on selling it.
First, welcome to the neighborhood! Why can't you use the "Upload a File" at the bottom of your post? I don't think you can post photos from an e-mail.
Welcome to CT. You're screen name is very apropos. From your photo it's an Errorseyedontc. As @cpm9ball said, try posting your pic from the Upload a File tab.
Suppose that if its environmental damage, it won't sell. However I'm positive it's not environmental damage. It looks like the color is etched in. But under the right lighting. The entire mark fades almost completely. The mark appears to be black under specific lighting, and then the color becomes to take it's place. At the right angle, the entire mark vanishes mostly. Except for a defined etch that resembles the curvature of a smaller coin....
Pardon me if I don't accept your opinion! "Under the right lighting" you can make almost anything disappear, but that is not proof that it cannot be environmental damage. How long have you been collecting error coins?
You don't need pardoned these coins I only need to sell, because I would rather have the money at this point. I'm sure what I have is rare. So if you like, maybe we end up finding there are others from the same mint.
If your only purpose is to sell this coin because you think it is rare, you're going to be in for a big surprise, and there will be a lot of CT members who will probably ignore you in the future. Of course, you might find a blind bidiot who will buy it.
Forget about him PD! The only reason I won't put him on "Ignore" is because I really do like to get a good laugh every once in a while.
If you post photos like above when selling it, I doubt you'll have many bids. Photos need to be CLEAR, as in focus, and cropped to show JUST THE COIN, for best results.
If my only purpose is to sell, I then do not hoard. Keep your eye out for the 2020 Weir Farm (Connecticut)
I was not going to post a photo in the first place. I was told to include it in the thread. I will aquire the way to make clear photos. For now.
