    REFUND!!

I don’t know if my CC and O have dings or not since I haven’t opened the Mint box.

I got screwed on the v75 though I can tell you that. There was an inch long hairline scratch above the v75 privy. o_O

  6. My Morgan P, D and S just arrived. All are immaculate, although the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. TC

My O privy was great. The box, though, looks like it came from an incompetent Chinese counterfeiter. The Mint ought to be able to do better than that.

    Does packaging really matter though?

I mean it’s main job is to ensure the coin makes it from point A to point B safely and as a place to safely store the coin.

I’d rather have a beautiful coin with awful packaging than an awful looking coin with beautiful packaging.

My others were supposed to be delivered today but sadly, where I live, USPS employees spend more time going on breaks and playing with themselves than they do at work. :/

The dumb thing is First Class mail is supposed to be guaranteed 1-3 day delivery and they couldn’t even meet their own guarantees.

I wish the Mint would stop using USPS and start using a private company like FedEx where employees are held accountable for their mistakes.

Just for the record, USPS specifically states EXPECTED Delivery dates, not guaranteed dates for this level of paid service.

Since a significant percent if not the majority just ends up in the trash its good they cut back

Why so you can pay twice as much and have USPS deliver it anyways when it was dropped shipped.

First Class absolutely is not guaranteed 1-3 days. There's no time guarantee on first class at all but the estimates are generally 3-5 not 1-3.

I was just going by what the website says.

It doesn’t say “might be delivered in 1-3 business days”.
It says “delivered in 1-3 business days”.

According to the website USPS proclaims that first class small packages will be delivered in 1-3 business days.

If they don’t guarantee it they should probably change the wording to something like “We will try to deliver packages within 1-3 business days but it may take up to 5 business days”.

So then is there a guarantee of 5 days? or 9 days?

Or can it take like 3 months and still be considered a successful delivery?

There's no guaranteed time on anything but express. There's just average times/estimates for the rest

FedEx? They did use fedex years ago. My coins would only go as far as the local depo, then poof gone, I think every time. Got sick of filling out those affidavits of non-receipt

Well to be fair there is always the “sign for delivery” option to guarantee the person gets the package.

If FedEx doesn’t bother to get the signature then FedEx is responsible for reimbursing the full value of the package.

If FedEx management realizes they’re losing a bunch of money because the drivers aren’t getting signatures they will enact policies mandating that every driver follow the policy of getting signatures or face termination of employment.

Ah well darn if I had known that I would’ve probably done 3 day delivery or whatever the second slowest delivery option is since UPS Ground and USPS First Class are the worst.

The ONLY guaranteed delivery is USPS Express Overnight. The 'second slowest' as you stated is once again only the average delivery time.
