This would be very cool to win (though I'm not bidding). It is a great looking error note, go have a look. Edit: Ooops. It is a 1928 note, and I put 34 in the title.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230427606750&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Didn't read that, doesn't come up on my BB unless I select to read it. I cannot believe that the bidding has gone as high as it has with that description.
when i first looked at the pictures of the note i hadnt read the whole auction description. it did look to me that the seal on the right had side was rubbed away. i dont know why they bidding is going so high. i am sure that those people didnt completely read it either:headbang::headbang::headbang:
Up to 98 bucks with 14 minutes to go.......some winner may be very unhappy upon examining the note if the seal was removed post printing.....
$105.50 and at least there is a 7-day return policy for the unforunate sod that gets hold of this. hope they realize the issues when they get it in hand and dont just send it off to grade and waste more money.
I bet that now that the bidding is done the buyer will read the description and say "I Think I Just Got Scammed"... The Title and the lead picture was deceiving but the description was honest enough. That note should not have gone for more than $6.00 given the description...
It was missing more than the third printing. The district was missing and also the ser # and seals. -O)
