Not bad, but the corners of the shield are bent inwards. The shield must be flat!

 

Some of those halves look like slot machine victims.

Should I assume die deterioration? It's not as bad as it appeared at first really. I compared it to a proof. It is noticeable though. Damn I uploaded the wrong image... I found a Denver also and wasn't wearing my glasses. Disregard this.

 

There horrible. How can they be? Were they a popular pocket change at one time?

 

It's just a cheap usb scope, 12mp I think. Terrible focal length. The hard part is the lighting and white balance without too much gain. I am going to try a ring light because setting up these lights is annoying.

eh, for me, unless a half is silver i don't even bother. way too many of these floating around to be worth the trouble

 

I know, but they don't just float around, around here anymore. You have to appreciate it when you find one that wasn't ran over. #Shrug.

 

I just went to my bank last week and asked if they had any halves. They did. A whole bag and they refused to split it so I went home with 2,000 Kennedy’s to review. Found 1 ‘45, a ‘95 Commemorative half and 8 proofs and a dozen or so NICs.

 

i'm lucky if i can get a dozen halves between 3 banks here
