Hello, I need some advice on this $2 bill. It appears that back has been stamped twice, the red lettering. Does anyone know what this is called and if it is worth anything? I know nothing about this and tried searching for a similar bill, but was unsuccessful. I scanned the bill, but it appears small on the forum. I would be more than happy to email the pictures. It appears to be very unique. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Please help. Thank you very very much!
Great idea. See the two links below...hope it works! Please let me know what you think it is. Thank You! http://yfrog.com/0sdollargoodbackj http://yfrog.com/cadollargoodj
Never seen anything like this.... My first guess would be that it used to be one of those "colorized" bills that somebody sells, with a sticker of the back design in color placed over the real back design. Then the printing on the sticker faded onto the actual bill before the sticker was removed and the bill placed in circulation. In any case, I'm pretty sure it's an alteration--nothing going on inside the BEP would produce colors like that....
Thanks numbers! I think you're right. It has been suggested that the bill likely went through a color printer or something of that nature. It was given to me by my grandfather, who obtained as change from a purchase. Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated... Thanks again.
