    Got this from NB Numismatics/ MA-shops

    AV Dam ND 8mm. 0.04g.
    Kathmandu Mint
    Nepal/ Shah Dynasty
    Rajendra Vikrama SE1738-69 (1816-47AD)
    obv/ rev: "Shri Ra je n dra" both sides of Sword 3327_11a_c.jpg

    Is that your smallest gold now?
    I have a fanam that is 7mm and close to the same weight. Feels almost microscopic!

    Yeah, they sure made some tiny gold coins in South Asia, didn't they? They make the ancient Greek coins look huge in comparison. .04g, must be like a piece of a leaf.

    The Mughal Emperors made the smallest and the biggest.
    The AV 1/4 Fanam was 6mm but weighed 0.08 g
    then Jahangir minted AV 1000 Mohurs in 1607 35pounds
    also 500 Mohurs.

    Its my "lightest" coin at 0.04g:)
    I think the Hangals of Goa struck 1/10 AV Fanams/ which would weigh about the same 0.04g.
