    D’oh!

Oh, you’re right. Today is Monday the 25th, isn’t it? Been on vacation. Got my days mixed up. Back to work tonight.

Edit- No, wait! Tomorrow! I’ve got one more day of vacation! Yay! I don’t have to go back to work until Tuesday night!

So if today is the day, what was all that flapdoodle about yesterday?

As to using bacon as a condiment, I am doing exactly that as we speak. Just added some to my heap of leftovers. Took the leftover yellow rice from the fridge and put some of Ladymarcovan’s excellent tater soup on top, then more bacon (the tater soup already had some, plus green onions), then a little grated cheese, then stirred it all together.

The resulting glop (starch on starch! Carb-a-licious!) might not look very appealing, but I assure you it’s quite tasty. And I’m helping to clean out the fridge before the rest of the leftovers eventually go to our four-legged friends.

The Elongated 1A / 1B controversy has been corrected in Token Catalog in honor of the honorable day honoring the Honorable Lord Marcovan . . . . . .

That was more confusion than controversy. I was more than happy to go with the nomenclature you adopted. I hadn’t really firmly settled on which subvariety of my elongated coin types should be called “1A” and which was “1B” just yet. All this cataloguing of the types is still such a new phenomenon!

The devil is in the details . . . .

Consternation is right in-between confusion and controversy. Perhaps a compromise is needed, but that would be outside of the parameters . . . .

Of course he's now enrolled in anger management! He keeps mumbling do you know how hard it is to find wheelchairs for that many turkeys?

Oh crap I know I'm going to hear from PETA on this one.

You know Rob all kidding aside on the Rairity scale used in numastics you are right at the top...only 1 known! Yes yesterday was your day....the other 354 days are ours! Your kindness, and generosity today and every day is nothing to blush about...its what separates us in a world today that usually focus on very selfish acts not random acts of kindness!
    You have touched us all!
I can recall months ago laying here in pain ,sleep less nights ,texting you in the wee hours ,and just how much it meant to have a short break from that pain.someone to just talk to....
I can recall your help to remain anonymous, to gift a less fortunate member some coins with out being outed....and I only post this now as the world should know the total truth....about RWS!
And to also warn others not to take advantage of.....but to appreciate the fact in a world so screwed up......theres a light . A becon that shows and glows even when you face the darkest hours!

    Thank you!

I did get a few more coins for that while I was in NC. Heaven only knows when I’ll get around to photographing them and putting them online.

@dwhiz- love the holey Trade dollar!

Thanks for the special day, y’all. T’was fun. But it is important to remember that though I seem to have a reputation for generosity (merely because I give away a paltry $30-60 worth of coins a month), I get as good as I’ve given.

I’ve been on the receiving end countless times. Embarrassingly, I cannot begin to list the number of kind folks who’ve sent me stuff or given me a sweetheart deal now and again. So I’ve benefited as much as anyone else. Besides, leaving aside the tangible, material considerations, I’ve enjoyed the fellowship. And you can’t put a price on that. :)
