Is it going to be the only from now on or are they going to issue two designs every year.

Only one going forward. This was a one off transitional year from the old one to the new

Thank goodness. The new reverse design is ugly.

I like the new reverse a lot better. That's going to be the design going forward for very likely at least a couple decades

I got mine up through the transition year and will get no more. Not because they are ugly or any other reason. However the cost is getting out of control. But, I am too old to start another series of anything.

I gave up doing series years ago and just get what I like. I like the different finishes for the ASEs and usually always get the RPs but the yearly proofs and stuff like that one of those is enough for me

I think you misunderstood what baseball21 said. By law, the new design cannot be changed for at least 25 years.

New design is ugly in my opinion.

Not true! Never too old for this hobby. No coins are too old for us... and the collectors aren't older than the coins. Old is not an issue! :)

Get whatever you like. If you don't like the new stuff... then don't get it!

I'd rather clean up a bunch of cheap ancients than buy overpriced mint releases, anyway.

That's what I am doing these days @Evan Saltis I have about 20 working. I posted several in the last few days. It is almost like finding coins from circulation.
